War never changes. After the Master's death several towns succumbed to the eastward rampage of supermutants. Many humans died defending their homes.

The hatred humans hold towards all mutants has grown to immense proportions. Anyone showing signs of mutation is met with open hostility. The towns and settlements to the east of the slowly developing NCR have also been marked by their western neighbors' problems. This region, known before the Great War as New Mexico, however, is troubled by greater problems with a different enemy.

You know nothing about this threat, while it knows everything about you. One thing is certain, though. You must change this. Otherwise, your ignorance will be the end of you. A new old school Fallout game - that's Fallout 1.5: Resurrection, a mod for Fallout 2. The player’s character wakes up, heavily wounded in a dark cave, not knowing how they got there, or who they are.

Mib88 Megamod

Starting from scratch the player has to search for their forgotten past, with a mysterious talisman as the only clue. As big fans of Fallout we've tried to take the best from all the classic Fallouts. Easter Eggs and jokes, with which Fallout 2 was literally overfilled, will retreat into the background and instead, the great atmosphere of decadence and hopelessness, which we all so much enjoyed in the first Fallout, will return.

The world is still chaotic, with only small independent communities, connected only by trade relations. It’s an unfriendly place, where the law is on the side of whoever has the biggest gun. The name Resurrection was chosen for two reason: firstly, resurrection is related to the main character, which at the beginning practically rises from the dead; secondly, it’s a resurrection of the good old Fallout.

  • Umm, so I decided to try the Abbey route for once and now I can't seem to advance in the ranks. I did all the required quests, but the head monk.
  • Jun 22, 2007 I've found the body.I just can't get it to say that 'this is THE body'. So I guess you mean there is a specific where I need to stand and then look?

We don’t want to re-do the whole system. Our aim is to bring this classic back in its original form. Many remember the feeling when they first played Fallout; until you completed the game, you kept going through interesting locations full of fascinating things, and even after several play-throughs you kept finding new stuff. Players could really get into such a game, and that’s exactly the kind of a game we striven to create. You can download the patch here You can download the full install here Basic information regarding the patch that we recommend you read before updating Resurrection: - The patch can be applied to Resurrection version 1.4 only.

The English version of the patch doesn't contain changes from the older versions of the game, because the first English release was already version 1.4. Save slots from the older version aren't compatible with the new version of the game. After certain changes, Fallout 2 isn't able to load saves made before those changes. Therefore save slots from older versions of Resurrection won't load in Resurrection version 1.5. We have updated the versions Sfall and High Resolution patch that are included with Resurrection. If some time in the future you want to update them to newer versions, you can easily do so by copying the newest versions of the ddraw.dll file (for Sfall) or the f2res.dll file (for High Resolution patch) into the Fallout 2/Resurrection directory.

But do not copy ddraw.ini or f2res.ini into the Fallout 2/Resurrection directory. There're specific settings in these files for Resurrection that are different from the default settings of High Resolution patch and Sfall. Since the ini files of High Resolution patch and Sfall are updated with the patch as well, your settings in them (for example the game's resolution) will be set back to default.

You'll have to redo your settings with Resurrection's Configuration Program, or by editing those files manually. The folder 'resdata' found in the folder 'Resurrection' was renamed to 'data' for version 1.5.

MegamodMib88 Megamod Youtube

The patch installer will take care of the renaming automatically. Thanks to this change, various programs for Fallout file editing will now work with Resurrection without a problem. If you downloaded some files containing hot fixes beforehand, you should delete those files before installing the patch (check sub folders in the Resurrection/data folder, or in the case of version 1.4 in the Resurrection/resdata folder). Those fixes are now part of version 1.5.

If you want to see what's new in version 1.5, read the foreschange.log file found in the Resurrection folder, or check the (beware though, it contains SPOILERS!). If you encounter a problem installing or running Resurrection, check the first.

The solution to your problem might be there. If the readme doesn't help, let us know on our forum, or email us and we'll try to help you. So that's all that crossed my mind today. I hope I stayed true to my word and didn't spoil anythingie. OK, now if you xcuse me, I got some ghouls to kill. PS: Of course, this goes just for the Rebirth stinkers ONLY.

I ain't no a Ghoul-hater. I like doing business with Mimi, Tulip (FO3), the ghoulie guys who asked Sidorovich which way to the Capital Wasteland and were immediately used by him for his vodka advertising campaign, my neighbor who went to Fukushima. Seriously, I ain't no Ghoul-wuthevah-later guys.:) PS: For the sake of whatever weird can cross anyone's mind, this was just a joke, right, heheheh:) +1 vote.

BOS quests Good evening! Three questions this time.one - how can I gain access to the BOS Facility (SE of San Fran, someways south of Military Base on the worldmap)? I've gotten the vertibird plans for BOS, and thought this would get me in, but the guards still ask who I am and kick me out if I apporach them. Two - Matthew in San Fran did not disappear after receiving the vertibird plans. Could this be why I can't access the BOS facility? Three - is there another BOS bunker somewhere else? I noticed the MegaMod guide et al.

Refer to both BOS quests (discover fate of recon troop etc) and the BOS facilty quests (cure Lenny). Any words of advice are most welcome EDIT - I'm really bad at this. I've found the bunker now, and gotten acces to the facility. Problems solved!

Hi, Morticia! I may not recall correctly, but - after giving Matthew the Vertibird plans, he put the BOS Bunker on my worldmap (at least I assume he did it.otherwise, I am less perceptive that I thought, what with missing a new green circle for days in a row). It's located 5 squares south of NCR; the BOS Facility, the other brotherhood location, is located near the coast, almost directly east of the bunker (and that one was revealed to me by the abbey computer). However, I was not able to get inside the facility before I talked to the 'general' on the bunker, first map.who gave me a quest to deliver some disk to the facility. After that the sentinels allowed me in, even with my traveling freakshow in tow.

Do you perhaps have the Navarro troopers hanging along? (The ones Maria gives you to scout Toxic Caves) EDIT - wait, you're the one who wrote the MegaMod Guide? My hat's off to you, sir/ madam! Did you get the quests from scripts or dialog files? Hi Noorits, and thanks! I get my info from anyone who can help me out, so that's why I was asking you. The crazy Abbey computer gives us the BOS Facility location, then we get the BOS Bunker location after giving the plans to Matthew.

And I'll give you credit when I add that to the guide page. So those stubborn dickheads won't let me into the facility! And after seeing all those heavily armored dudes around the Bunker, I decided that maybe blasting my way in was not such a good idea. I messed up and forgot to pick up 2 of the Military Base holodiscs needed, so going to have to replay a lot from an earlier save, or I don't think I will get very far. Maria is the only one still alive at Navarro, as I managed to run to the lifts and end combat before my party could whack her. I must have messed up something in dialogue with Tony in Broken Hills, because she doesn't offer me any jobs at all.

I'd sure appreciate any help you could offer about that line of quests also. You know, Dude101 asked me to put the MM guide on the Vault-Tec Labs wiki, so please feel free to add any new info there that you find. No Megamod guide is ever going to be finished until Megamod is finished. Already over 5 years in progress, so who knows if it will ever be? Did you try to enter the faciliy.before.

doing a quest for the general located on the bunker/surface map? He gives you a disk (although it does not appear in the inventory) to deliver to BOSF, and henceforth the guards over there recognize me being authorized for entry. For the MB holodisks, I think I may have screwed up that quest for myself as well - I went to MB.before. getting the quest to find out the fate of the enclave troop, and now the general issuing the quest does not react to me. Perhaps it's a separate bug instead, though. With Maria and Tony, I did not get her to do anything reasonalble besides abuse me verbally until I stole the parts request form from Dr.

Schroeber (?). Then she said something like 'ok, you're cleared to go.' And then I discovered I cannot pilot. From that point I travelled to BH to speak with Tony, and finally got him to train me (can't remember the exact dialogue path). But it took several talking sessions with him.

The toxic caves quest was given to me by maria when I talked to her after getting the black box and TC map from the crashed vertibird in Klamath. She told me to scout it out and gave me three Enclave troopers to help with that; however, since I'd already been to toxic caves, nothing new happened there. When I returned to Enclave with my support squad, the base treated these 3 guys like regular NPCs - i.e, they attacked us.and the enclave troopers helped me empty the base quite effetively. After we'd killed everyone there, and I ended combat, they attacked me as well.

A grave error on their part. Thank you Noorits, They did let me in to the Facility once I received the assignment from the Bunker to deliver the disc to Professor Steel. When I returned to the Bunker with the machinery part, it said something about an alarm sounding, then the screen went black and froze.

(Not sure if that was a bug, my files are corrupt, or WindowsXP blackout.) Matthew says I can't get to the Bunker by land. This must be how Maria, Fassard, and the Black box fit in, and why there is a dialogue option to ask for fuel at the Bunker. We are supposed to find a verti-bird.

You're battle with the Enclave troops is probably part of this also, but it is not all linked together or working yet, it seems. I used Vad's editor to give myself the missing MB holodisks, but I think you discovered that is not good enough to 'find out what happened to the Enclave troops'. What is puzzling me is how to 'find out the reconnaissance troops fate'. McRae said this isn't the same quest, and that makes sense.

The reconnaissance troops should be Brotherhood guys, and not the dead Enclave troops in Military Base. I think I'll just have to wait for MM v2.35 and hope more is working, but McRae was able to get in to both BOS bases and finish the quests, so I'm totally confused. Sorry - I somehow manage to be very confusing, oftentimes. The 'discover the fate of the reconnaissane troops' quest is NOT about the enclave troops - it's about a missing BOS squad. For me this quest played out like this: after receiving the quest, a new location appeared on my worldmap, near the coast between San Fran and Navarro. It was labelled Siege, I believe.once I got there, I witnessed a heated dialogue between Enclave troops and BOS troops (who are hidden in a cave), and then I had to fight the E troops. From other posts in this forum, though, I understand that this battle and leaving the site afterwards can cause the game to crash.

It happened to me once or twice as well, but finally I was able to kill the Enclave troops AND exit to worldmap without crashing. The MB holodisks are necessary (from what I understand) for a quest to 'find out the fate of the Enclave patrol investigating MB', or something.and apparently, you have to investigate the corpses on MB inside levels. Once you've been inside one, the corpses disappear and you can't complete the quest IF you got it after visiting MB Vertibird is a complete unknown to me - I can't seem to get it off the ground. Ok, this is starting to drive me nuts. I cannot, for the life of me, find the poison in the Klamath rat tunnels. I have (I think) looked at every nook and cranny of the three parts of the cave, I have opened (and rechecked) every locker I could find, and there's nothing left in there except for dead rat bodies. Since nobody else seems to have a problem locating the poison, I believe my game might somehow be bugged (or I need glasses.).

Could someone (in spoiler tags of in PM) tell me where it.should. be, I would very much like to get on with the game.
