I have TMPGenc 2.58.44.152. I'm trying to open a Divx v3 avi for encoding. I get an error that says the file: cannot open or, unsupported. The files play fine in media players. The file is the 2 cd DVD rip Frag1e release of Mission Impossible 2.

I changed the AVI VFW Compatibility Reader to a priority of 1. That didnt help. Anyone have a clue as how to resolve this or how to get these files on to an svcd?

Btw, TMPGenc will open the file as an audio source. But as a video source it gives the above error message.
