Suzuki Wagon R+ The Suzuki Wagon R, sold over 5 million units worldwide in 2010, is kei car produced by Japanese automaker Suzuki since 1993. The R in the name denotes Recreation. The body of Wagon R is unusually tall with short bonnet and looks like a vertical hatchback. It is one of best-selling and most profitable car for Suzuki. In India it is sold as Maruti Wagon R.
The Wagon R has been the best-selling kei car in Japan since 2003. The Hungarian-built Wagon R+ is still being produced for the European market (Wagon R-Solio and Solio are not sold), albeit with limited range and availability.
